Cheetah Plains has this month been awarded, for a second consecutive year, a 5-Star PREMIUM status by The Tourism Grading Council of South Africa.

We are immensely proud of this achievement and we extend huge thanks to our phenomenal team and their daily commitment to service, attention to detail and delivering the Cheetah Plains guest experience bar none.

Congratulations go to our lodge management together with our entire culinary team, housekeeping and field guide teams and all the operational staff behind the scenes.

About 5-Star Premium Grading:

This grading was introduced in South Africa in 2019 and is aligned to international best practice. The Star Grading Levels of 1 to 5 Stars have been augmented with the introduction of a 5 Star “Premium” level. This aspirational level is reserved for the most ultra-luxurious product offerings in South Africa and allows for the recognition of exceptional 5-star properties.
